Ponies Through History (2)
Robin Hood and his Merry Men
King John was a bad king of England. He took money from the poor and
gave it to himself.
Some ponies thought this was unfair. King John banished them. They lived
in the woods as feral ponies, and they stole from the rich to give to
the poor. This was a good thing, but their movement was later hijacked
by scammers, who claimed that Robin Hood had set a precedent for their
evil behaviour. This belief is Totally Unfounded and Blatantly Untrue.

The Plague
In the 14th century, Europe was struck by a plague of smooze. Ponies would
develop large purple boils in their vinyl, which would burst and lots
of icky yellow pus would run out.
The population of Europe was decimated. This is one reason why European
ponies are so rare and sought-after.

Rats were the cause of the plague. Yellow crosses signified
a household struck by the disease.
