80 Ponies Around the World
Europe: France
Baby Sweet Stuff had a lovely holiday in the summer of 2001 - in the
seaside town of Sete in France.
She left on the Eurostar, and then caught the TGV down to the South of France.
It was a fast journey, and she loved looking out of the window at the scenery - though this photo was taken under the Channel, so it was a bit dark...
She enjoyed trips to the beach. She looked very stylish with her parasol and sunshades - even the chic French were impressed!
Baby Sweet Stuff enjoyed the warm sea, but was careful to dry herself properly to avoid any risk of tail rust. She used sunscreen to protect against fading - and you should, too.
She was lucky enough to go to a restaurant one night - there were so many yummy things on the menu, she didn't know where to start, so she had an aperitif while she chose.
Of course! It had to be oysters!
Maybe she was hoping to meet a French baby brother pony later on?
Well, no boy ponies were found in France, but she did find some new friends - the new French ponies. Here she is with her holiday pals.
The new ponies told her there might be ponies to rescue at the flea market, so she took her holiday spending money and persuaded Linnie to take her.
Hooray! They rescued 8 ponies - and a pretty fakie from a Hasbro mold. The French ponies loved Baby Sweet Stuff's tales of Little Pony Heaven so much that they asked to come home with her - so they did!
